2. Click on the "Bill Payment" icon from Main Menu
3. Review and accept the disclosure

After signing up, Telco will process your application within 3 - 5 business days. You will receive an e-mail notification when you can login and set up your payees.

Frequently Asked Questions About Bill Payer

How much does it cost? Online Bill Payer is FREE with the Direct Advantage Option on your Telco Checking Account. If you do not have Direct Advantage, Bill Payer is $3 monthly with unlimited bill pays.

How do I sign up? Register online using the Bill Payment button in MABel Online Banking.

How will the payments and fees be taken from my account? Payments will clear from your primary checking account usually the day after you have scheduled the payment to be sent. Fees will clear your primary checking account on the last day of the month.

How long does it take for a payment sent by Bill Payer to be applied against my bill? There are two ways Bill Payer can send payments. One is electronically and the other is by paper check. MetaVante maintains relationships with some of the big name payees like Sears and JC Penny. Payments to these payees can be sent over the Federal Reserve Bank's electronic automated clearinghouse system and can reach the payee in about 3 days. For other payees, a paper check is actually prepared and mailed from MetaVante's office in Wisconsin. The check is mailed on the day you schedule the payment. Considering the time to deliver the check and for the check to be processed, 10 days may pass before your payment is applied against your bill. If you are assessed any late fees because a payment has taken longer than 10 days, MetaVante will refund you any late fees or penalties.
